Hertsmere Local Plan 2017 – Introduction
Hertsmere Borough Council (HBC) are consulting on whether to build 1000 new homes across Shenley & Elstree and the ‘area of search’ for a new Garden Village. You need to know what the options being considered are.
The following pages are extracts from HBC’s new Local Plan “Planning for Growth – Issues & Options” Consultation which particularly relate to Shenley, together with maps to show you the suggested search areas. We also include our views on the proposals.
- Growth of Key Villages
- New Garden Village
- Our Views on Hertsmere’s Proposals
- Things to Consider When Responding
Note: The information on this page, as well as the first 3 pages linked to above, formed the notes handed out to everyone who attended the village meeting on 10th October 2017. If you would like a PDF of these notes as handed out, please click here.
We recommend that you look at the whole Hertsmere document online, along with as much of the supporting documentation as possible.
